Visions from my past

“im 8 years old…it’s sports day in school and me and the guys are running around the building trying to avoid the teachers just for the sheer fun of it…”

“im 13…we’re all devising a plan for sneaking in KFC into the school for the class party…the H.M catches us…but in the end we get our party…”

“im 15…me and the guys are in a taxi trying to get to French tuition…we’re lost…we finally find our way after an hour…my first real adventure…”

im 15…im at naju’s place for tuition…me, snoop and joe are chatting…we don’t do any sums that day…naju isn’t that pleased…”

“im starring at the front gates of our school…the sun’s just right…im at peace…”

“its new years day at our place….the whole gangs there…I realize so many things that night…the best new year ever!!....”

“The four of us are driving to Cornish…one of our long family drives…we’re debating where to have dinner…”

“we four are in appa and mama’s bedroom…all of us are in bed in different angles…appa is telling us one of his old stories which we’ve heard a hundred times already…we urge him on…laughing our ass’ off.....”

I never realized how attached I was to Jeddah…sometimes I wonder if coming here was the right thing to do….honestly…im still not sure…

I miss everything about it….i even miss my old dumb school…I miss the crappy teachers…I miss the constant parties every Thursday night…

Ten years from now…id love to go back to Jeddah…might not be the best place…but iv got too many memories and somehow its important to me to go back there once more…….

Touche... That was by far the most touching piece you have written to date....

Pain is by far the best known accelerant to creativity...

dip your feet down a warm tub of water and let that mind of yours enter into the void....

....cherish those moments.. but dont crave for it... let its uniqueness remain, and we would certainly stir something new for us to dissolve in..
